30 Movies in 30 Days-January

Attempt to watch "AT LEAST" 30 movies within the specified 30 day period and share your cinema experiences with others.* and **

THE RULES

Watch 30 films (to the best of your ability) that fall within the following guidelines:

For the month of January the requirements are:

-5 Films from the same writer (screenplay writer)
-5 Films centered around the same theme/event/time period (f.e. King Arthur/Pearl Harbor/The Civil Rights Movement)
-10 Films from each year of the 00s (1 from each year)
-10 Films of your choice

and 10 Films from the categories above must be films you've not seen before.

Of course these can overlap. For example if you watched 5 films from the same screenplay writer that you've never seen before, that would knock off the same screnplay writer category and half of the 10 new films required! Then you can use the remaining films to watch whatever you want.

The actual film requirements are as follows:

-The MINIMUM length of the feature must be 60 minutes.
-TV movies, theatrical released films and direct-to-video features are all exceptable.
-TV pilots exceeding 60 minutes are NOT acceptable, nor is watching (for example) a 3-part episode of Doctor Who.

After you view a film, update your post in this thread with the title of the film, the date you watched it, what format in which you viewed it in and a overall grade from A to F. Writing an optional review for each film or posting links to IMDB, etc. are OPTIONAL, but recommended. You don't have to write a huge review or anything, but merely sharing your thoughts on the film in a sentence or two adds to the experience for everyone. Also multiple movies can be watched in a single day.

Try to keep this thread as clean as possible. Each person should have ONE post that they keep updating. Use the [hide] tag if you want to keep it even less cluttered. Also if anyone has ANY questions, feel free to PM me and I'll answer them. Just try to avoid posting them in thread.
